MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received an Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song for 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his first full-length album. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. He worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia in 2020 and next year, dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his parents and brother are also musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is essential. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, the ukulele, and piano. Although he initially wanted to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban music teacher could change his direction in life.
